Account Manager: Ogilvy Health
Account Manager: Ogilvy Health
During my time at Ogilvy Health I served as an Account Management Intern
I worked on clients such as Haleon and Springworks, specifically having the opportunity to focus on rare diseases with the Springworks brand OGSIVEO. I managed multiple projects for the client, leading kickoffs for the team on briefs I helped create, working on proofing items in Proofpoint and checking them in Veeva so they would be ready for MLR review. Along with this I also created weekly status updates for the team and client which I read out during live weekly check-ins and wrote weekly accomplishment lists for the client. During all this I also kept my team up to date with key milestones and attended consistent internal reviews of the project, as well as client reviews pre and post MLR reviews.

Alongside the rest of my work, I was placed on a team of 12 interns and we were asked to create a solution to a problem that today’s society faces.
As one of only two accounts interns the 12 of us split up, and I formed a team called the ELG’s (The Entry Level Giants) that consisted of one Account Manager, two Art Directors, one Copywriter and one Strategist. I had the idea to go after food insecurity, which has become a big issue in today’s society. Many people in the US live in food swamps, which are areas that are full of unhealthy fast food, but have nowhere to purchase affordable or healthy produce and meals. I had heard of Misfits market, a brand dedicated to reducing food waste and brining affordable produce to people in need, and knew that I had tapped into an issue that really needed attention. With the help of my team, we were able to bring the idea of Foodstuff to life. A meal that is like a lunchable, but healthy. Meant to be piloted in bodegas in the Bronx, our product is quick to obtain, affordable and delicious. It’s the real meal.
As the Account Manager I set up a tracker for our team to mark when we completed work and what still needed to be done, as well as checking in with my team to see who needed help and what goals we had for the day. I also did some of the research with our strategist, as I knew the brand and had a vision for the idea.
The images to the right are a portion of our pitch deck, focusing on the research behind our idea and showing how we made this presentation not only informative, but also fun.
